The last time I bought alumalite (maybe 3-4 years ago) it was $220 for a 4x8 sheet... maybe I was doing it wrong.

I got 2 sheets out of their scratch and dent piles, which only had bent tips and corners with some scratches, which doesn't matter for our application, for 80 a sheet out the door. This is a local sign shop, likely the 3rd one i've used in various moves. I just used the 2nd sheet to stretch mine a bit further back and forward.

When I was searching, I came across that site. Maybe I didn't follow up because they list no prices. I'll check it out, though. Gracias.

Google for local sign shops gents, even if it's an hour away it's worth a look. Call and query if they have 4x8's in the dent pile (usually gonna be white). My thinking on shipping is you pay for full price and risk it getting dented anyway.

Redoing some of my splitter, adding fiberglass front diffusors and extending the belly pan to finally meet up with the splitter... yes I have been lazy, but now that I'm back in a state that allows racing for non BMW and Porsche owners I should get up and running again

I have a mildly off-topic question:
How are you guys with large front splitter loading your cars onto trailers?

My stock IX SE Lip and lowered car I've pretty much just accepted is going to lightly scrape every time i load/unload. If it had a 6" extension I'd rip it off every time.

Quick release bumpers plus strategically placed bolts? These functional splitters need to be tied into frame mounts in order to transfer significant down-force right?

Look for a product called race ramps, they work very well to extend your trailer ramps. Some car still require bumper removal. Depends on how low, and big the splitter is.

Currently I have 4' ramps, plus 8' wood (stepped) ramps, and there is a 2' dovetail on my trailer. I do have a pretty high utility trailer however. It's a pain to haul it all.

How long are yours?

the trailer door is 7' long. ramps are around 5-6'. we jack the front of the trailer up to help with the angle as well.

pic of the splitter for reference:
