Finally have my car back on the road! Still on the break in tune, but should be on the track next month. Snapped a quick picture while I was doing the alignment rough in. Stringing and corner balancing to come. Since I last posted it was a full interior RS. Photos were taken at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. Name: image_zpsvgoscx2s.jpeg

Props to the garage as well

With a set of aggressive track wheels/tires, your RS would just pop

It was 90. Car was pissed in the third session when I really started pushing. Coolant got up to 235, so I did a cool down lap and pulled in. Oil light flickering at idle in the pits...lol. So I won't be going back tomorrow, waste of $150. And the car is going to get the full compliment of cooling system upgrades as well as a racefab oil pan before the next time out, which will likely be in the fall. Worth noting, after cooling off, it would idle without the oil light flickering.

The tires did much better at SMMR than they did at SOW. Was very impressed with tire wear after 75 minutes of track time.

Mine does the same after the checker, it's not a pan issue as that's been the case with all 3 pans I've run. But we think it's more along the lines of the front 02 getting overheated so it idles excessively low causing low pressure and sometimes a light indicating front 02 fault something. If there's a line at pit out I have to keep a little throttle input in until she cools off. So that's my guess at this point.

- This is also with my cooling setup that doesn't go past 195.
- Not a tune issue either as it's been that way with, sh*t, 10 different tuners at this point lol.

For me, today, I think it was oil temp. Twinning the stock oil cooler at 420whp, I'm sure nothing was happy. I realize the pan won't help with oil thinning out, or a low idle. But running NT01's and a good amount of power, I'm sure I need a baffled ban to maintain better oil pressure.

Today was not a waste, I got 3 good sessions in, made 2 big mistakes that led to two AWESOME saves...lol. Forgot the SD card for my GoPro though. The "waste" is that I signed up for tomorrow as well and for the sale of my motor, I'm not going to go (I paid for both days when I registered a month ago).

Oh yeah. I got a solid 70 minutes on track having a blast with no failures. I'm stoked about it. The car did lose some coolant though. No visible leaks. I'm hoping it just expanded A LOT and went out the overflow. Otherwise I might have a head gasket issue.
