Not really. Just something that will fit in any NASA or GTA unlimited or open class.

On those I'll run a 315/30/15 Hoosier A7. I really want to run a 18x12 with a 335/30/18 but from my measurements I don't think the front geometry will be too great with a -15 offset wheel, lol. :-)

Not sure yet exactly what wheels I'll pick. Advan and Volk both make only a couple choices in low offset 18x11's.

I think I have a build thread around somewhere I started a few years back. Or you could check out my One Lap Evo IX FB page.

That's what I'm trying to do and realizing quickly that it may not be an ideal setup, need a -13 at least to have the same inboard clearance as my 10.5" wheels. Too late now though, already have the wheels... Aaron Shoe's been running 18x12 for a couple years now with success though, and I have to imagine his front offset is somewhere around there too.

As outlined in the other thread, run longer LCAs (Evo X Race Fab), axles (driveshaft shop sells axle bars in 1/4" increments) and toe arms. Your scrub radius will remain similar to stock with wider tires.

That doesn't help strut clearance on a 12" wide wheel.

I just have a feeling that anything bigger than 315 for autox or 285 on track will hurt performance. AutoX is just adding width and track is adding drag. I've thought about even 315s and I'm still not sure its worth it over 295s. Maybe even the 285s since you can run the CG almost an inch lower. Will that much added weight transfer be offset by more efficient tire/weight ratio?

Thats what I found. I have Evo X RaceFab arms and it did not seem to give me much if any more clearance at the spring to tire area. I won't muddy up this thread with too much discussion though.

That would be correct, it doesn't solve the tire to strut clearance (assumption being everyone is running a 6" front spring). It does alleviate scrub radius from wheel offset and spacers.

Unfortunately, I can't find my front measurements as I didn't document those as well I did the rear. 315s with 6" springs on the front should be doable with a 25 offset when only accounting for tire to strut clearance.

Maybe Dallas J can add strut to hub adjustment to his next version of knuckle.

Since the strut mount is a bolt on part its certainly possible to make something more custom for a specific setup. Just depends if you want more offset or an angle change. Its all really sensitive though so small angle changes make for big changes at the wheel.

If someone wants to bring me a car on 315s with extended control arms and axles, I could see what's needed and 3D print a few iterations to get in a good range.
