I clipped off a best of 2:02, nothing great but the fastest I was willing to go on the roval was 145mph. Also I need to get some more skills, I am still super green. But going out and having a good time .

Nice job. Yeah, its all about enjoying yourself & not wadding up the EVO.
That turn 1 is a wake up call for sure
I tracked Fontana for 4 years but havent been in over a year.

If you had that variety of cars racing anywhere in north america i'm sure you'd have no problem finding excited announcers.

Yea. All 5 studs sheared off right at the base of the threads.

Ichiba 10mm spacers and their included studs I think we're the culprit, they weren't OEM studs. I have ARP studs and billet spacers on the way. A long with some body parts to move the repair process forward.

Damn. Yeah my next question was going to be if you had spacers. Well guess once you walked away and have the solution for next time.

I had the 5mm kit in the rears but have since swapped them for ARP's when I redid the hubs. So my hubs failed before this kind of failure. Forced upgrades ftl lol.

wow, very lucky. could have end up a lot worse. i have a buddy that run those bolt in spacers also. they have worked loose on him before. i've been telling him to get arp studs and pass through spacers. hope this pics will finally convince him. my arp have held up for 5 years, and i run hoosier tires.

These weren't bolt on spacers. Ichiba extended studs and 10mm slip on spacer.
