Just installed my black headlights, stance gr pro coilovers and yoko advan ad08 tires and was going to hit the track yersterday, but the trackday was canceled because the circuit was closed for random issues... so with the car ready to get some punishment I went to an auto-x event, it seems that the car was running a "liiiittle" rich hehehe

ps: the autox- event was an open-non championship event where you can run with any rookie or friend that wanted to know how the car goes and what is the sport about; otherwise passengers are forbidden in any pro race

Not a lot of work done on my Evo, it's my summer street car too, Althoug I think it has as many track miles as it does street. I do have a spec miata though.

 

^I like the tire rack on the trailer. Im hoping to get a rack fabbed up for my trailer in the coming years.

 

how do you like spec miata compared to evo? im thinking about selling evo and getting spec miata

 

The miata is fun and cheap to fix, but the Evo is my favorite. You can only go so fast in a miata no matter how good you are on the track. But.. we bought it to compete in SM with our group of friends(Husband and I share it, Evo is mine). We are looking for another one so we can both compete at the same time.

 

Red flagged?? You think they would really stop everyone on the track at their nearist visable corner worker / station to tell his passenger to keep his hands inside the car???

Ah, but you're forgetting it's an autocross, which means they would use a red flag in that situation.
