pump gas is for HPDE... if you want to race, you wont be competitive without E or race gas. i'd love to show you our power curves for the NASA classes but i'm afraid they are going to change the rules because of what we are able to do with E85 and a 3 port BCS on stock ecu

I am running the GS 3-port BCS!
I am running an old-school FP white. Car currently has an AMS tune, and makes 325/380 on VP110.

Depending on the class you want to compete in, there are power to weight limit. If you can hit that power limit on pump gas, then I don't see a problem with it. Although e85 can give you better power under the curve. If I was towing my car, I would run e85 for competition form sure. But I drive my car to and from track, so e85 is not an option until all the tracks have e85.

Well, with the evo stock ECU, you can have both tunes for pump gas and E85 changed with the flip of a switch. Just bring E85 with you and drive there on pump gas. Fill it with E85 and flip a switch...done. When you are done, full it back up with pump gas and flip the switch again.

Yeah, I know you can have dual map with stock ecu, but from talking to others who have done it, its not as easy as jut putting in different fuel and switch ecu map. There's left over gas in the tank and you have to run through a lot of e85 to get all the gas out, then you'll be on true e85. And the same goes when switching back to gas. You have to time it so there's not much gas left when you arrive at the track. Or find a way to drain the tank. Too much hassel considering all the things I already have to do to prep the car once I get to the track. My power limit is 330whp, I can make that without issues on pump gas, maybe even put in a couple gallons of 110 on a very hot day.

If you have a little 93 pump still in the tank you will just get a blend in the 70-80 range at the most. You can pretty much get the tank bone dry and whats in the line will not effect the E85 so much, gets you into the 81-82 range. We have tuned plenty of Evo's on e70 and the results are still impressive and as good as e85. Once you get up to pure Eth in the 98 range you can just go crazy, We made 467 awhp on a bone stock Evo 9 Turbo on E98. Its magic stuff Do it! You just dont understand until you try it.
Very simple, run the return line from your regulator into an empty tank. Pump out the 93.
How can they limit you to 330 hp? How is that even measured? You can make more than 330 on a stock Evo 9 turbo! The FP White would light up!
