IIRC, this is a universal KV8. The plug and play KV8 for the evo doesn’t come with an onboard wideband controller where the universal does. Kind of a wash by the time you get the boomslang harness, but you can move the ecu to a different platform in the future if needed.

Got the s2 cams installed over the weekend and finished up the timing. Found a little Easter egg and the car has a curt brown intake manifold as well!

Pulling the HCC out of storage this week and getting it ready for the season.

new alternator, side dump exhaust, and transmission catch can on the list.

Nothing exciting. I overfilled the dry sump tank and it dripped onto the stock alternator so it needs replaced.

in spoke to the importer about one of those but he didnt find any. This took about 6 months to find in Japan and over two years to get shipped over.
