trans cooler is ready, ever since I thought I would stay with a 6 spd..

Trans cooler has always interested me. If you get one setup, I would love to see pics of what/how you did it.

My point was more the upgraded ring and pinions aren't needed. Especially not the "stage 2" gearset, it's just a made in China gearset. The stage 3 albins gearset is cool, but not exactly needed. And it's soft like "pro gears" for drag racing, so not road course even street use friendly.

Me too, please. I got as far as finding banjo fittings for my fill and drain holes and researching a pump that could move the fluid... but I can't find any of the info. I don't think I NEED a cooler for my HPDE days.... but I wouldn't mind adding one anyway.

key is finding a cheap gear pump... I got one from marco.it and I think they have a US distributor... Staying away from "motorsport" stuff is the key to low price..

I dont have banjos.. just some metric to 10AN adapters and Setrab oil cooler..

What's the story with this 8mm to 10mm transfer case bolt upgrade? Is the 8mm bolt a genuine concern for reasonable power levels?

I'm trying to find the lowest common denominator among all the different rulesets that might apply here. Not entirely sure if the 8mm to 10mm bolt upgrade would be Autocross ASP legal if I wanted to go that route in the future. Trying to stay out of SM here, otherwise I have to give Dallas all of my money for fancy suspension parts.

It should be legal. I believe it falls under the reliability rule they came out with last year. You can make things stronger as long as it doesn't provide a performance benefit.

How about the clutch. Like going from oem to ACT HDSS. Does that mod not bump you into SM anymore?

Clutch is totally fine in ASP. You can run a twin as well there. Just not in STU.

The bolts he's referring to are the external bolts.

Wow this is the biggest derp moment I've had in a while... I'm mixed up with another car where the tcase upgrades consist of enlarging the internal cap bolts.

haha yea external bolts. TBH could probably put longer bolts in with a nut on the other side as they all poke through the other side of the bellhousing but you might end up breaking the casting. I put my driveline thru hell and ive only ever broken a crown wheel and pinion once.
