to be honest ive used chinese ****ty rads for years and the only time ive had them fail is when ive burnt a hole in them from a blown weld on my wastegate exhaust. Ive found for me at least cooling is almost not needed while on track as the air does a good enough job. its when you come in and stop it becomes a problem lol

Same here. My radiator is original to the car. I run events with 100*+ temps. So far, not so much as a hiccup, though my cooling system never sees more than 5-7psi and I'm told pressure is what kills the plastic tanks. I do have a used OEM in the garage as back up. I bought it 5yrs ago and haven't had to use it, yet. WooHoo. Of course, with my luck... saying that... *knocking on wood*.

If someone comes up with an aluminum radiator and aftermarket fan that works better than OEM, I'll go that route. I'd actually like to ditch the heavy OEM fan..but it works, so... Or.. if there comes a point OEM is no longer an option for me, then I'd obviously be forced to go aluminum. In the mean time, I'm golden.

i thought it does work better than the oem radiator, the question is how much heavier it will be.

That's the problem. I had red flag last weekend after 5 laps of chasing and finally passing this M3 into the highest braking/speed zone on the course. 110 track temp. My dual fans were struggling to keep it below 207 while we sat there and baked, highest I've had it ever. I may do more to aid in this when, not if, situation.

Had a friend give me a decent hookup on the CSF. I'll post up pics and weights when it arrives.

Yes mech pump gets deleted. There are a few companies that sell delete plates. The electric pump can be mounted anywhere you choose. Definitely buy a quality pump, there's only a handful of names I trust for that.

STM delete plate: https://stmtuned.com/products/stm-ev...UaAo0zEALw_wcB

MAP sells one too as well as a few other evo specialty shops. As for a pump I'd look at Craig Davies, they're pretty much the biggest name in electric water pumps and they're over on your side of the Pacific.

You can mount it really almost anywhere. I'd try to find some place on the frame rails that's convenient.
