Maybe this for OEM radiators?

or as a cheaper option?

Idk about the flex a lite, but one should avoid Mishimoto products. None of it seems to work as well as any pretty much anything else..

Hey all. Getting ready to do the timing belt and water pump. Have an HPDE coming up at VIR and wondering if I should just run normal coolant (which is bad if it comes out) or run water for the track event?
Setup:
Radiator - stock
Radiator fan - stock
Radiator cap - stock
Thermostat - stock
Oil cooler - Stock
Oil Pan - Stock
Fluid - Currently stock, but asking... (Distilled water and water wetter or 50/50?)
Water temp gauge - stock
Power/torque - 305/305
Car is a 9MR
I do have beatrush undertray that I'm debating about running at the track. I generally would prefer to run it, but I'm worried I might cook my brakes... then again, it's nice protection and would probably help with cooling and "aero"
Flame away

Just run coolant. If you're somewhere that it doesn't get super cold. You can run 75/25 + water wetter.

Oh I'm not specifically TRYING to not run coolant... it's more the whole, if it leaks it can cause a serious incident on the track. I'd probably run the water for the track event and then drain it and run the normal 50/50...
How high or low do you guys run your overflow bottles?

I leave my overflow empty for track days. If I don't the car will push coolant out of it the first session. Running 205* for 20 minutes grows the coolant quite a bit.

Evans is a pain in the dick. If you lose a hose you have to have a bunch of Evans on hand to fix it.
