Funny you say that, Myles and I were talking all kinds of smack on your "prototype" parts hahaha. He sold me the new shortblock they had sitting there so we're gonna be actually...on schedule this season looks like. Why? Because I melted the #*$% out of that manly turbo tuff piston. Huge pinky finger gap on the side skirt. Nice big scars on the wall. Fun stuff. OEM gets back back to the reliability we know and love at this power level and gives me some room for standalone.
For the M stuff ya 150 for sure because I'd hate to go 130 and then be "yaaa ya know I'd like to do this or that now" and can't. Myles knows ...his stuff I felt....but it'd be nice of JRR actually responded because he's the real geek. I have kyoo level questions on all the sensors lol.
Myles said JRR swears by the OEM crank trigger, 0 problems. English only insisted on it because of their power levels. So I don't think you "have to" switch per say.
I switched to the Kiggly 12 tooth setup because it's way easier to change the sensor if it fails and the sensor is cheaper and more available in case I get into a bind at the track. Also a cleaner signal.
If you want someone that will talk to you, message my buddy Myles @ER. He will get you sorted 100% and will respond fast. He's getting mine organized for me
Myles is a punk. I called ER when we started building the hillclimb car because I’ve always heard good things about ER and we were going to do a built motor and tuning. He was a total douche on the phone. Of the dozens of shops/vendors I dealt with procuring stuff on the car he was hands down the worst person from any vendor. Because of him we haven’t purchased a single part from those guys on the car.

tl:dr - Myles from ER is a PAB
Yeesh, I know Myles pretty well and thats def not his personality. Hes mostly just a goof. Sorry you had that experience with him/them. Totally not a normal experience to have.
I found it interesting the extent the later CT9A WRC teams went to move bias back...
I've been searching for a good photo of this engine orientation but have only ever seen it on some youtube videos. So this is a screen shot, sorry for the crap quality.
There are some floating around. Lancer wrc 05/06 builds were posted in the mmc visit but a lot of it was redacted later on as the team was still active. I'll see what I have saved.
Since the platform isn't used anymore for that level, what are the odds of finding the guy who has the repository of knowledge saved on a harddrive that worked on them? That would be huge for the community even if its highly unlikely.

Start here. The teams are still supported at some level I believe
They removed a ton of pictures shortly after this was posted. I would contact them to see if they have additional pictures available.
The intake manifold is an over the top design with a small pipe feeding the dsps fresh air valve from the uicp. I will open my old laptop and see what I have saved.
