suppose I wanted to hear my exhaust louder inside the car could I put a microphone near the tailpipe and tie it in to my stereo system? It would be cool if I ran it through an "octave drop" effects box it would be like driving a V8 or a big diesel rig. Or if I did a pitch shift up one octave I could pretend I was driving a go-cart.

Maybe I could tie it in to my antenna to broadcast it so that when you tune your car stereo to station 69.9 you could listen too!

Or better yet, what if I had ground effects that changed colors with the volume of the exhaust. So it starts out blue-ish green then as you go faster and it gets louder it turns yellow until you're really going fast and loud then it turns bright red so it looks like red hot fire is underneath the car when you're haulin'!

Then... when you hit the rev limiter -- for every pop of the exhaust a bright strobe light flashes underneath so it looks like boom boom boom explosions of light....

Cheapest Way then you need a 12v adapter :-)

Gonna need to add an inverter to that parts list. You are better of just riding around with headphones like the vaginas I see in their imports, I thought that **** was illegal, apparently depends on how douchey the officer is?

Very true the inverter is needed or a 5 volt mod to cig lighter of some sort ;-) It is illegal completely.

I like the new law they have in Canada about headphones, cellphones, and grooming, they are all equally illegal. I bet they haven't seen a Texas *****, putting on lipstick, smoking a cigarette, drinking coffee, and talking on the phone without a hands free kit. That **** is scary right there...

The other day I was in my family CR-V and we were going to our church and some douchecanoe was all over my *** on the DNT. I was leaving about 4 car lengths between myself and the car in front to make up for the *** canals behind me. He insisted on staying right on my bumper from Windhaven all the way to 635... I don't get how people think, we saw 3 wrecks in that time from rear-ending...

Yes, yes it does. I listen to headphones sometimes so I can listen to a radio show that I download (it's on mainly when I'm at work). I've never had a problem until one night when I stopped to let a cop leave a parking lot despite me having the right of way.

That's the only way he saw the headphones and the only time I've ever been pulled over for them.

I will admit...I did that when I had a car that had no provisions for A/V hookups. It was the only way I could hear my pirated music, on my iPhack.

I only do it for the radio show. It makes it easier than connecting it to the car, waiting for it to show up on the interface, selecting the track, etc., etc. Then reversing the process when I get out of the car.
