i saw a yellow IIIV today merging onto 79 south in wexford near T-Bones...just wondering if it is anyone on here....looked pretty stock to me.

as long as there is no snow on the ground Saturday night, it's on.

Race day starts with registration from 8:30 to 9:30am. Tech inspection closes at 10:00am. Timed runs follow the mandatory Drivers Meeting. Bring something to mark your car with (either masking tape or a paint marker), and a Snell 85 or newer helmet.

Yeah that Vette is very nice. Those LS2 motors are great for modding. Chris' GTO has the 6.0 LS2, and that thing scoots. Stock vs stock the GTO just man handles the evo in the straights.

I haven't raced chris yet with his catback, intake and tune. However i'd assume it would beat me pretty good.

I can only imagine what that vette would do to my car :'(...

hey, i just took my wheel locks off tonight. got tired of digging for the key in the glovebox everytime i changed tires around.

if anyone wants the locking lugs, make me an offer. they're not gonna do anything but take up space in a droor.

 

theres nothing wrong with a little black smoke now is there??

Not sure if i can agree with that. My stock EVO ran a 13.1 @ 107.9 i see newer GTO's running 13.6/13.7 at or around 104 mph. they are too heavy.

 

I was referring to my Evo 8, however if i am correct some GTO owners have seen 12.9-13's. Regadless, there is no way we can deny the power of that car. Also that is from a dig, if you just rolled up to one on the highway, i can promise it would start to pull away... I have been on the receiving end of that one :'(. I still love my though . Both cars are very nice, just 2 different styles. The older i get the more i wish i went in a different direction... "the grass is always greener on the other side" could never be so true.

In the end though (since we were talking about the vette), i would not be sad if i was driving a new C6 lol.

 

I envy the evo owners in Erie.......

I hope our snow is coming soon, I am itching for some good winter fun
