you know she wasn't stock, and you know taking out the back seats adds at least 20hp
to the wheels (without a tune I might add).

I wouldnt mind at all meeting up in the South Hills - just gotta see if the Subie guy i'm going with will be able to meet us down there (he lives in White Oak). How long does it take to get to BeaveRun?

i don't remember, i'd guess 1/2hr? at tops (if your close to 79). the last time i was out there was for the PVGP 2 years ago.

 

registration starts at 8:30am, i am gonna try to be there around then, since this is the first scr, there will probably be a good bit of people, and i will have a little setup work to do before racing starts.

it usually takes me about 45 to 50 minutes to get to beaver run in the morning from my place. if you guys want to meet up, we should all probably get together around 7:40 somewhere around here.

i am not sure where you are all coming from, or what is on your way, i live in brentwood, which is about 10 minutes south of the liberty tunnels on route 51.

there is a get go very close to my house that would be a good meeting place if you guys are coming this way. or, we could meet somewhere in the north hill/cranberry area close to the turnpike exit. whatever is convenient.

colin, you would probably be coming down parkway from greentree area, right?

dave, i am not quite sure where you live.

it might be easier to meet on the other side of the tunnels so no one has to back-track. let me know what you guys think.

 

if there is a radar detector involved, i have made the journey in about 10 minutes from the north park area.

 

I live in the Southside. We could all meet up in the Southside or Station Square area since it is right next to 79? Lemme know what you guys want to do.

By the way, did any black Evo happen to race a debagged, silver VW GTI on lowering springs? There is a guy that I work with who for some reason thinks his GTI is a Ferrari and claims he killed an black Evo from a roll. Just curious to know how bad the Evo beat him .

 

From the Southside with no traffic Beaverun is 45 minutes on the nose going the posted speed limits the entire way.

Maybe the gti did beat him. There are more then a few slow stock EVO's like mine out there. In fact I'd be more then happy to race him.

Hey Dave how bad was your stock clutch? I'll never know because my stock stuff was supposed to be in my trunk, but I guess Shepherd forgot to put it in there. I was really curious to see what it looked like.

 

It looked like crap. Mike showed me and said it was toast. In fact it looked I had been beating on it without Mercy for five straight days.

I got that whole slipping the clutch thing down now though.

She was a good clutch and went out in grand style.

SJ if you want my stock clutch it's probably still up at Bariel.

 

I didn't know it was slipping. I thought mine was, but it really wasn't. I'll never know for sure how well I took care of the original.

Do you need a clutch put in????? I have some used t.o.bs , three smoked clutch discs, three heat warped flywheels....Two junk pressure plates....Oh yea and some used gear oil....I will cut you a good deal my prices arent SET IN STONE....... Oh yea that was two days of work.....

 

where do you think down ss/sq? maybe the little gas station at the entrance of station sqaure? it would be easy to grab a cup of coffee and hop up on liberty bridge and head out from there.
