local Pittsburgh Meet
Hey guys, I go to school/work in Boston, but am from Pittsburgh. I just picked up a new GTS 09 Lancer and would love to meet up with some other lancer/mitsu fans in Pittsburgh when I am back next month.
I used to belong to a small car club in pittsburgh back in high school when I had my cavalier, and now that I have the lancer I want to be part of the communities in pgh and boston.
Anyone want to meet up and hopefully watch some penguins eastern conference finals or stanley cup games

I see that I am being made fun of here, thats nice and Mature....Nope I sure dont that clutch I put in myself works just fine......You guys keep forgetting this is the very first time I ever put a clutch in let alone dropped my own tranny....Now why in the hell would I put a very expensive clutch in on my first job for me to screw up if I screw up....plus I have things I am going to do to this thing so why in the hell would I buy another expensive clutch for me to blow.........But its nice to see people making fun of me about it.....Thanks....

I can only imagine the public flogging one of the long time posters would get for putting a used stock clutch back in their modified EVO.
If I did that.
Mondo would be posting pictures of cracked clutch disks and exploded pressure plates
Travis would make long posts about the additional drivetrain wear associated with single disk clutches.
The Game would ride in the car and leave thinking his car "Acctually is pretty darn good"
Dan L would post some secret fluid mix for the tranny (with seven ingredients) that works great on DSM's
Steelcity would laugh at my 60 foot times with said used clutch.
EvoDan would add all of the above to his signature.

I'm only back in pittsburgh for a couple weeks end of May to early June. I am graduating then heading home for a little and coming back up here to boston to start my job.
I know I will be back in the 'burgh between may 22nd and June 8th. So any day in that two week slot would be great. I'd love to meet up and see some of the other evo/lancer rides.
I'll keep checking back on this thread and see what day/time you guys decide on.

I wanted a clutch so I could move the damn thing if I had to
This is my first clutch job
and I plan on doing more so there is no sense in me putting one in that cost me 1500 bucks if Im going to blow it before I finish my plans.....its only smart to save my money.....Unlike most around here Liz and I have to work hard for our money......My plans to even go to the track have been foiled since.....but thats ok I have better, more fun ideas to do with the car.........Its not your car, so there is no need to bust my ***** unless you want to have alittle fun, but know me first and who I am before you bust *****......

As a matter of fact I think the only guys on here who are at the point with me who can bust my ***** would have to be Justin and Rob....they both actually spent time to get to know someone......But I can understand where you guys are coming from.....You guys are already in the I know it all mode.........Luckily for you guys you have the money for it.....Me? I have to learn it and do it myself....I.E. My clutch......Now that i think about it a little more and what has been told to me....I really dont give a **** about everyone making fun of me.......Do whatever make you feel good.......If making fun of me makes you feel better than thats cool with me

lol Well You have plenty of time to practice....after I did a once over with the car I found alot of things I need to fix and replace....interior and ex.......My car is getting out of hand with its condition........starting to look like a POS.........Literally
