local Pittsburgh Meet
Well this is nothing compared to the 3 great builds going on (denny, dan and eric)
but for sunday I changed:
Tranny fluid
Transfer case fluid
Rear diff fluid
Brake fluid
Installed:
Endless stainless steel brake lines
Endless CCX brake pads.
Check tire pressure and it's go time.
BTW I did it all myself...besides a buddy pumping the brake pedal...do I get
mad respect yo???....lol

Good luck this weekend
Oh man...gas mileage...whats that? I think some Prius owner told me about it once. Yeah, Jestr's tune doesnt seem to help the mileage (i'm getting about 15.7mpg), but I can't complain with the results (i'm sure the lead foot doesnt help). 12.8 @ 109 with a God awful 1.9 60ft and 700 bucks total put into acceleration mods make me pretty freakin' happy.
. Right now, on a Jestr tune, im pulling about 20 mpg average. Thats about 75% city/25% highway....
Hey, i am semi new to the forums and live in the pittsburgh area (north hills to be specific) and am looking for a good tuner, or someone who can design me a custom map for the cobb access port. (I have a 2006 Apex Silver Evo MR)
here are my mods:
AEM Short Ram Intake
Megan Racing Exaust Manifold (pipes and all O2 housings up to the turbo)
DC Sports Downpipe and cat delete
Greddy TiC cat-back Exhaust
Greddy Spec V intercooler and Lower pipes kit.
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
I had it reflashed once after I put the exhaust system on, with no real notice to a gain in performance. I drive it everyday, and it has been a little project of mine ever since i bought it a few months ago. Like i said, any ideas as for a good tuner/dyno facility, and does anyone know of a garage that can custom make me a map?
Thanks for your feedback

hey, welcome to the pittsburgh thread.
you've got lots of options for tuning, none of them particularly close to pittsburgh.
when you say custom tune, i am thinking you want to get it on the dyno?
really the only relatively close AWD Dynos i know about are CBRD out in york, and Buschur in Ohio.

endless makes some nice stuff... i think regular maintenance is more important than anything!
I got all this **** to do and it ****ing rains everyday in pittsburgh. I got oil to change, I got gauges and exhausts to install, I have shifter bushings... Garage isn't big enough to work on with two cars...
Is this really that impressive? It's not a stock turbo. Curt Brown was close to this with a completely stock turbo
