TeeJay's Quest For 700+whp Stock Block discussion thread
For those who dont know what difference correction factor makes heres a vid from DG showing it
It say's at the end it was just for sh*t and giggles, so that explains the world record

Kind regards,
GUM
P.S no disrespect to DG as these guys seem great at what they're doing, lets forget the world record and have results in either shootout mode or 1.00 correction factor.

Agreed. Untill the dyno issues are sorted out, I can't agree with any dyno records. I'd like to see some trap speeds as well.
+1
keep it up DG
pete goes out of his way to help people that are having problems with there cars and doesnt ask for a thing out of it
i know he spent his own time helping me out with a tune on my car that i paid another vender on this site almost $1000.00 to tune and all he did was **** my car up and made it where it was not drivable
Thank you again pete and when you get down to fl give me a shout

I don't think anyone is calling DG bad guys. I think people are saying that claiming to break world records on 1.2 correction factors is BS. They are just making themselves look stupid.
They should post the numbers they get on 1.0 cf. If it looks possible that it is a world record according to whatever cf they think is needed to equal a dynojet, then once the tune is finalized they should take it to a dynojet and claim the record there. Then nobody can say anything, and they look like pros.

Well said dude and I agree 100% with it all, I for one really like some of the things DG do and their work plus commitment seems second to none. This was a dissapointment more than anything... run normal correction factor then on a dynojet, makes sense to me

Honestly I am guessing this car will have the record, it has the right elements.
I agree that playing with CF's aren't the most accurate thing as well but who cares, they said they are going to take it to another dynojet, so then we can know for sure
Good luck guys, should be interesting.
Not to stir the pot but i normally run on a 1.0CF dyno dynamics and for fun at MAPerformances fall dyno day I went and got dynojet numbers.
The difference for me was around 11 percent, so who knows

Nice build, keep up the good work.
You don't see other big names on here commenting and if they did it would be legit. Usually the loudest person in the room is the weakest... just let it unfold and keep the -ve comments to yourself.

Good work dg nice power. In my opinion there is only one dyno that can not be manipulated and that is dynojet had them in every shop and only go to a dyno jet . Also dg just a suggestion i think you can make the same whp or more with c16 or q16 rather than vp import cause it demands more pump and injector due to oxygen in the fuel is greater . Good luck with the numbers and your issues .
To everyone with the positive comments/feedback, thanks. We do work hard and long hours here to get every job done right. We were simply using a correction to keep the numbers inline with ETS on this job and both cars a pretty darn identical. Both cars made 530-550whp around 23-25psi but I don't want to get into that now.
Yes, we have ran into some ignition issues but the car still pulls 29 psi clean on the stock ecu. With VP Import and some real good ignition timing this car is making good power on any dyno for a stock ecu/stock bottom end.
We will not claim another World Record unless we hit a dynojet since the correction factor has gotten out of hand.
TJ, hang in there, we aren't giving up. Unfortunately this is part of the game when making big power and pushing the limits. Hopefully everyone will actually take some of this testing in so they will have an easier time when duplicating or having a build of this caliper.
We don't want to give up, we really want to see how far we can push this stock ecu and motor.
Let's please clean this thread up and move along!
