TeeJay's Quest For 700+whp Stock Block discussion thread
If you need a 1.2 correction factor to match a dynojet, that local dynojet is broke at reads astronomically high.
I have 5 years experience using and tuning on a Dyno Dynamics. A stock X on a DD should make 215, and up to 225 on a couple of really strong stock examples I've seen.
Every dynojet I've compared that to is much closer to at a 1.12 correction factor for an AWD car, but it is _never_ static as the numbers rise, because they read horsepower completely differently.
Run it at 1.0. Who cares if the numbers "look" low, and let the car do the talking at a dragstrip. Lots of poeple on Evom have been exposed to this type of dyno and are aware of how it reads. Please don't cheapen the results by inflating the heck out of them!

***** a dynojet! Dynojets are like today's Gay @ss mainstream rappers... They tell u wat u want 2 hear but never tell u the truth. lets c wat the dd reads w/nun of this c.f. bs... and take this **** to the track and c if it amounts up to the numbers that are being made 2day.
I'm new to the Evo scene but I gotta say this 1.2 cf is pretty lame. I can understand you doing it by your customers request for his own records, but posting it on a site and announcing to break world records is funny.
Some find it funny and others like myself who work in this industry find it insulting..

I know english racing usually runs uncorrected (I know they did on mine). I know ETS does as well. I'm not a dyno expert, so is there any reason to run a CF besides inflating the hp numbers?
dont forget that teajays evo is almost full weight DD,, its not ment for DR, maybe future, but ya you could have a car with 1000HP get killed by a car 800hp its all on how you make it... and how you drive
