HAHA, thanks for the offer marc. those wheels are rediculous but too rich for my blood. i know you guys won't look at me the same after rocking some rotas. it's all about the look for me. not the function......well atleast for these wheels, lol.

Actually it was 63 total, but you are right that SJR (especially during winter events) doesn't attract the top talent. Simmon's is an animal in any car, probably beat me in pax driving a pinto. I'll still take my FTD against njmp's exige for my first time out in the car

PS: Don't sell the hoosiers. The more folks on race rubber the better!

Can anyone explain why people spend money on a sub $20k car to get $10k in body work? why not just get the evo instead?

 

That was just the motivation I needed to put that FS thread up. I've been meaning to do that for a while.

I didn't mean to take anything away from your accomplishment by saying 20 people, I'm not sure where that number even came from. 2nd in pax ahead of the NJ regulars your first time in the car means SM is going to have some competition this year.

I still have my A6's for autox. Those CCW;s were used for HPDE, hence the R6s'. Now I just run street tires cause its easier not to haul & change wheels at the track. I'm getting lazy in my old age.

they're definitely a good deal. I'm gonna go with the Prodrive knockoffs though. These new T2Rs are perfect. Plus they're not on every evo in the shownshine section

cherry hill mitsu has got to be the best place to get parts from for a dealership. i just ordered from them and had to call up this morning to add to my internet order and they guy (mike) who usually answers the phone there, knew who i was by name (because he recently processed my order not because i call over there a lot) and referred to what i ordered off the top of his head.

just thought i'd put it out there for those who don't know about that place.

when people have a positive experience they tell 5 people and when they have a negative experience they tell 15.
