Lol. Surprisingly I am more and more the older I get. Ok just to get this off my chest So Idont feel like a liar I only put those numbers in because everyone seems to be seeing only a minor deviation between a real dyno and vdr. Ive owned a legitimate 423 whp gst and the evo feels way more powerful by a large margin. There are a lot of dsms with similar mods and this turbo putting out around the 450-500whp mark.
I know mine is around that area. Vdr was around 330 whp on the stock turbo 425 at 25 psi on the hx with a bit of tuning and with meth 30 psi and a more aggressive tune I got those numbers.

As soon as I can gather some samples I am having the chemist here at work test for ethanol content only, and I am going to do an evap test on the shell fuel to prove there is still a large amount of hydrocarbons in the fuel.
i am not sure if this will work for testing e85, it was just an example

okay, petrolium based dilutants in alchohol (ethanol) greater then .05 cross contamination percentage usually deemed acceptable as a result from any contamination.. I am going to try to have a full distilation done on this fuel at a specific temp that will leave me with the hydrocarbons that should not be there. It will be an easy test since diesel and its numerous additives has an endpoint temp much greater then E85, so all that will be left is the heavy crap thats not supposed to be there

I also know the appropriate action path needed to be taken if this proves true and is not resolved.. I am really hoping they fix this because if not, no E85 for me this year

Mike, Allentown is pure goodness. Both Sandy and myself are running it now, and it is fine as can be. I'm currently on the TOM's batch, and the car feels fine also, pulling to 28psi without knock that I can feel! I'll do some logs this weekend.
I think the 1400's will be a huge improvement and I won't feel stupid for running a risky setup.
If Chu and dan go to Atco I can guarantee good times. They have a BAR, thats right, beer and hard liquor, with tv's to watch the cars make passes on as well.. I make it a habit to walk around with a sixer of sly fox pale ale everytime I go. I hold on to the plastic thing like uncle eddie in "vegas vacation" with the busch pounders

He'll be checking it tomorrow I think. I gave him a sample of the stuff I just bought last saturday. It should be good though, never fails that A-town station!!
Lancaster County Pigs gave me a speeding ticket this morning. 60 in a 40 zone. The pig wouldn't have my merging excuse, from a two lane to one lane! Who the hell merges while maintaining speed?

I've only gotten 1 ticket in PA, but it was 20 over in a double fine zone. Took it to court and the cop didn't even show

i noticed this am, that my fuel pump is making a surging sound at idle , like you can hear the fuel through the lines outside the car almost sound like a lawn sprinkler. Has anyone else noticed this, car idles perfect and drives perfect.
Mine sounds the same. Its not a smooth tone!

i am going to try to fight it to get out of the points. i don't care about the fine as much as i do the points.
