Do they require an additional FPR?

After next months upgrades I think injectors will be near the top of the list.
They are high impedance injectors so you have to bypass the stock resistor box....easy to do. Also these injectors come with a PnP transition harness that goes from the OEM connector to the bosch connector on the injectors - It all goes together real nice.

I run the ID1000's in my car they come with a PnP adapter as well....No FPR - im running stock regulator at stock FP w/ a single whinebro

After I am done with these I have another brand/size I will be doing testing on......so I will have some solid recommendations for you based off my own experiences with these new injectors - you def. want to go with the newest technology if you can, they are pricier but sooo worth it for idle and driving quality.

FINAL NOTE: I also have some testing on some new bushing soon so those who were requesting info earlier should stay tuned for that sneak peak!

yea you wont be sorry....they would work perfect in your car. I am running 93 octane with these in my car and I am just plain impressed of how an injector of this size works.

I added pics to my first post - I will try and get a vid when I get home of the idle, seems the weather will be much nicer today than yesterday.

Hey thanks for the info. I hope to do the switch this summer depending if I feel the clutch will hold out. Just passed 32k.

On another note I've been using that Heavy Shockproof/MT-90(75w-90) mix for six months now and its great. It's the only one I have ever used that seems to work well under both cold winter and warm weather conditions.

I will hopefully get to find out how well ID1000's work out on mine soon. I was assuming the weather wouldn't turn as fast as it did. Now, I am waiting to get parts back from porting & coating.

Just in case, will I still be allowed to show up at the meet without my Evo or will I be barred?

Trav, I been looking into these injectors too. 1600s are a nightmare and I've heard nothing but good stuff about those ID's. It's to the point where 1600 duty cycle on pump is at a fraction of a percent at idle and it still shows 13s on the wideband

Speaking of Bushings.

I have the blox billet front motor mount in this car and like it a lot more then the purple power flex one. It's nice because it comes pre pressed in a housing that just bolts in and looks like stock. Also think there is slightly less vibration and surely a hell of a lot less with the AC condenser running.

These idle around 12.5-13.5 on pump gas in closed loop - I am going to switch to full time open loop and tune them that way as well and see if I can get them any better.

Discussing this with my friend we are figuring an injector of this size is just not physically able to operate properly at such a low pulse width to idle at the normal 14.7 regardless of any latency or scaling changes....I would guess the same goes for the 1600's you have and why your IDC% is so low but yet its still rich.

I will no more after I do some open loop tuning but regardless these things are a smooth operating and easy to tune injector. 1600's are cavemen injectors compared to these

I never thought a 2000cc injector would work so well on a stock ecu in closed loop form - its fantastic. Unfortunately I have to give them back in a week or 2 but I am enjoying my time with them. Plus looking forward to the next injectors I have to test siting on the shelf in my garage...
