On erics behalf I will say I was present when the Tcase failed he didn't launch on it. He simply went WOT in 1st gear and when the sob spooled and hit peak TQ the case cover had seperated literally pulling the threads out if the case itself!!!

So it's not like he took my car and destroyed it it destroyed itself

Does anyone know what the specifics are of being emissions exempt? I've never been eligible before and might be now. I bought the car on 3-23-09 (new) and to date I have 4600 miles on it. Do I qualify?

Yes, 5000 miles or less. you only have to pay for an inspection now.

Been exempt since 2006

 

Ya its an HFC. I wasnt worried about it passing, just only having to pay for the sticker

I will be at the track the 10th. I know you don't want to go from a dig but right now the track is more important to me. Show up may 22 for the turbo race, dave b was there last year. I can arrange a race during practice if you wish.

If you must do something at the top speed secret test facility I can probably do something in june. I have many T&T and events that I want to make between now and june including autocrossing.

 

What's up guys. Hopefully a lot of you got a chance to play in the snow this winter or finish builds for this summer. I'm still regretting selling the VIII for a daily driver and have been tetering back and forth on a new X for a couple months now. I would like to come and hang out on the 10th if you all don't mind it not being in an evo.




Steelcityevo, If the weather is nice and your up for it I would love to do a friendly race or a couple pulls against ya to see what mine can do against a 650whp beast! Should be pretty close!
