Dan, it's also a good idea to put a few (like 5 or six) jellybeans in the transmission fill hole after you add gear oil. It's really good for shifting

 

I'll be there as long as my car is done - which it should be!

I used 2 MT90/1 HSP. Shifting is superb.

Oh yeah I have tried a BG Synchroshift blend, shifting may have been a bit better but IMO it was too light and I heard alot of noise at idle when warm so I didn't stick with it.

 

****, with the list this long i guess ill try to get my *** there as well, if even for a short while. plus from the way things look ill get to see some badass cars in person

edit: what about amsoil... i need to stop procrastinating and change my trans fluid also

 

Amsoil looks good on paper but redline makes **** last.

There is coincidentaly a DSM meet down at the waterfront the same day so lots of 4g63's will be down. Good thing for the DSM guys its all down hill to get there too.

 

Getting a stock hood painted and on my car by the weeks end, I'd like to sell my CF hood. If anyone is interested in a CF hood, I will give you a good deal on it.

Well. Today is the day. I ordered the BR 2.1 motor and their Stage 3 head. Probably get a 5 speed tomorrow and send it into shep so it will all be ready to put in next week. The nice thing is that BR had a 2.1 and a stage 3 head for a IX already ready, so I might be able to pick them up this week.

The anticipation is killing me. If it is all done, I hope to be able to bring her down to the meet. Have to take it easy on the new motor.... at least for a little while.
