There is no break in on a Buschur motor buchnerj.

Mine went from completion to tuning on the dyno after some minor low speed and idle adjustments it was on to fill power pulls on pimp 93 to the tune of 540 whp lol that was my motors break in period !!!

We could tip off a couple tow truck drivers and maybe get a percentage from all the break downs.
I think they copied the date time from us so yes it's the same time.

The anticipation is killing me. If it is all done, I hope to be able to bring her down to the meet. Have to take it easy on the new motor.... at least for a little while.

Excellent choice.

I will hold you to that. I need to get Jason to do the 3 port boost and double pumper and tune when it is done. Alt map switch too. I hope it puts down some good numbers. Will be interesting to see the low end torque with the slight increase in displacement.

For what AMS wanted for practically the same thing in a 2.0 version I could have bought a used 03 Evo. Not cost efficient at all.

For tires, I believe the majority opinion is Dunlop Direzza Star Spec. As far as wheels, that's a personal thing.

I think 255 is max without rubbing for anything less the +38. On a 9.5" wide wheel. I have a 18x9.5 +35 with 265's and had to roll the rears.

Congrats! Not having much downtime is a great thing

Did you talk to him at all about the BR 2.4L? I thought he posted he was in the process of buliding another one..

No, I didn't talk to him about a 2.4. I was only interested in a 2.1 or 2.0. I am going to be keeping the HTA Green turbo, so with that much displacement there is no way it would have had enough air for the top end. This way, with a 2.1, I gain some low torque, spool a little faster, and it is still bulletproof. I-beams, coated and machined pistons, no way it should have a problem with the numbers I am trying to make.

With the new 2.1 and Ported and Polished head, Double Pumper, fuel rail, and ECU boost I am hoping I can break the 500hp barrier, maybe mid 400's on torque. We shall see. Now I just have to get the thing put together. That and get a 5 speed built by shep. I will be more than happy with a 500/450 car on the street.
