Man the tags are both epic and dynamic. I just read the last few pages and there were different tags by the time I made it to the last post.

 

Some friends from college and I are meeting up for beers and to watch the Pens game at the Fox and Hound tonight on McKnight. If anyone wants to meet up and watch the game and shoot some pool, let me know.

Hopefully Marc-Andre Fleury doesn't suck, although to be quite fair the last few games he has played decent the team just let him down.

i like fleury, but if so that would be a shame. johnston has been playing out of his skull during his last couple appearances.

 

Did Bylsma announce a starting goalie tonight?

 

I like Fleury as well but i have to say they should play the hot goalie.....I always believe the best players should play no matter what, if Fleury wants his job back then he has to beat Johnson - if he cant then you continue to play who gets you the W's.

Looks like another good deal for a low mileage VIII, but there has to be a reason why 4 people got rid of this... It's right down the road from me, so I may check it out. There's no picture, but does anyone know who just got rid of a blue VIII?

 

Brian, I think that price is in line with what an 03-04 should go for. I'd say 16-18k is what I'd pay. So don't be to weary. Plus, you kno enough about evo's to make a good call on what's up with it.

for an 03 it seems to have extremely low miles. you're talking 5300 miles a year?

 

Starting goalies weren't announced yet I don't think, but I wouldn't be surprised either way. Bylsma seems content to give Fleury the benefit of the doubt and get the majority of the starts which one one side I am okay with, this funk has to end at some point. Johnson has been playing insane though, no doubt about it, the more he plays the more impressed I am by his performance.

Martin has to be the best off season pickup by far, he has played great too.

Oh, by the way, saw an Evo (Silver IX) at the Hampton VFD down by St. Ursulas church off of Rt. 8 yesterday. Looked like they were there to vote. Anyone here?

 

I clicked on the free carfax vehicle history report. One guy had it for a while, then someone bought it for 3 months and sold it. It had some good details in it, but I don't always go by those reports, especially after what happened to mine. When my 04 got hit, it had 10K worth of damages and never appeared on the carfax.

 

Martin by far has exceeded any expectations. Engelland is my favorite by far this season with Johnson not far behind. I'm waiting for him to come up against a worthy fighter and throw down. Malkin, Michalek, Goligoski, and Letang are all expected to be in the lineup tonight minus Dupuis (his wife just had a kid early today).

I may head up to the Fox later, sounds like a good time.

On a slightly more serious note, I'm very much debating on going to Maryland International Raceway this weekend to run in their Import vs Domestic World Cup. They have a stock class that I'd qualify for and apparently the winner last year was a GTR running 11.7's - I'm doing quite a bit better than that. Also, its a very well kept track and is at sea level (PRP is 1110ft above sea level). In theory, I'd gain about 15 more bhp and with a good 60ft (I should be able to get into the 1.6's there), I could get into the 11.4's or better. Winner gets $500. Runner up gets $250. Decisions, decisions.

 

Dang 18-19K for an 03! I didn't realize these cars were still worth that much. I already have a truck, I wonder what I could get for my 05? Then I can be part of the "in" crowd
