Hey, my other forums have a huge 12 long page about them, and a couple people said they weigh 21 pounds each?? which i think rotas are around there. I'll now see 20 people in pittsburgh on these rims ;P Hopefully not, but there not even at dealers yet so! I cant tell you for sure how much they weigh until i get them. Once i get them id be happy to weigh each one!

Are you going with the 8.75 width or the 9.75?

If that is the case, there will be alot of dead guys on XXRs. Other forums are freaking out about these things. The company is huge and makes 2.4 million wheels/year. I'm guessing that is why they can price them even lower than Rotas. They are gunning for the Evo/STI market stating about the 552s, "Super light multi spoke design with major X-factor property to clear large break calipers on all cars including EVO and STI." Its always a good sign when the company misspells, "break."

It says that they make a lot of wheels for OEMs. They have various accreditations, but I don't know what the minimum standards are for those. But hey, even Volks have cracked. Anything can break, but I wouldnt want to be the first guinea pig to try these out.

saw this today and thought i would add it. the narrator made me laugh too

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...l-testing.html

take it from someone who has bought **** wheels before. **** it, and dont get em. I was afraid my wheels were gonna come off with daily driving. I would never think of using them on the track and i highly advise you dont either.

if price stands for anything mine were originally priced around $1000, these are like $500!! price could tell me two things, either quality is really low in comparison to others or demand is... and if demand is i wounder why. im not an economist by any means but rarely does this stuff lie. i.e. ARC wanted your left nut for an UICP cuz it looks like a rainbow... who needs that... where did they end up.

and if you dont plan to use these long, the resale value is going to be very poor. I sat on my wheels for 2 yrs literally trying to give them away. eventually some guy with an accord took them lol. just trying to help ya

yikes. that was pretty disturbing to watch.

there are some car parts you can cheap out on. exhaust components, interior accessories, dress up parts, etc...

but my rule is never to try to pinch a few pennies on critical parts. wheels definitely fall under the critical category.

i guess someone needs to buy a set of these wheels and start dropping large weights on them.
