Anyone have a evo 9 turbo compressor cover laying around? I need to run a 40mm restrictor for the Mt Washington climb to the clouds hillclimb. I need to have the restrictor built and could use a turbo for mock up. Anyone kno much about running a restrictor?

If Jason doesn't have time in the next couple weeks after I get my built motor back anyone wanna help me out putting this beast back in and get it back on the road ?

so it seems the international auto show gets slightly crappier every year.

the highlight of this year was easily seeing the FastTrack for a Cure booth on the top level next to Mini.

the FastTrack event is coming up at the end of may in the north hills pool parking lot. it's always a good autocross, and it supports an amazing cause (HDSA - Huntington's Disease Society of America). Morgan really does a lot of work putting together one hell of benefit event.

 

Wow, summer blend in Robinson already? I'd run it now if starting it in 20 degree weather wasn't so difficult.

Does anyone have opinions on vinyl car wraps vs paint? I'd like to eventually do a matte silver re-paint/wrap, but I don't know what is the better cost effective solution.

 

Agreed. Underwhelming. Then again, the entire auto industry isn't making anything exciting anymore so it's not the shows fault entirely.

Well maybe if you like hybrid cars with extra batteries that get 40+mpg.

Thanks for the update. How are you testing again? The Ethanol content sensor?

 

Did you have alot of trouble starting? The few times I had mine sit in the cold I had a little trouble (I think it may have hit 20s?). I just had to increase my temp compensated IPW adder and it seemed to start up, however, I didn't get to test it much.

 

that'll be an amazing race! some of that scenery up there is stunning.
