What do you guys do about the rear end thunking on hard shifts? Whats the best of both worlds for a street driven evo?

Solid mounting the rear differential will transfer some drive train noise through the rear chassis of the car. This noise may be louder than desirable for a daily driven car

that scares me, even though like the car has a solid from mount and stuff, but noise is still pretty minimal.

Be very cautious on what you make solid, you can turn a nice drivable car into a vibrating pile of rubbish with one wrong mod. to get rid of 90% of the thud get the aluminum side diff mounts with poly inserts from Buschur to start with(minimizes DS deflection and diff whip), also the aluminum DS from AWD, the car will be noticably faster and be more solid to drive.

Curt, any idea how much power you are making on that HTA Green/2.3 setup? Plan on getting it dyno'd anytime soon? I'd love to see that thing in action.

I'm gonna have my HTA Green tuned for spring but keep hearing how Curt likes the 2.3/Green combo. It makes me want to upgrade in the worst way.

Yup. Got it tuned up along with running the GSC S2 cams. Mike found out that my high flow cat was clogged which probably explains a bit of my power issues.

See if you can get any deals from Mike @ AWD for a 2nd aluminum drive shaft.

I can't imagine how hard that things pulls now. It was a beast before with the 2.0L. Did I see where you were going to be testing out a new engine from Buschur? If so, you going to be selling the 2.3L?

573whp and 510 tq still breaking it in, couldn't pry the 2.3 off me!! Nail the throttle at any RPM and it just flat out explodes down the road, actually dangerously.

If we can get all these fast cars on the track at the same time it would be one heck of a race group.

IMO, the steelers played better then GB.
