If you can deal with the virtual keyboard, get the X. I was a blackberry user going into the Droid X so I needed an actual keyboard. I picked up the Droid Pro (also on Verizon) last month and haven't looked back.

The rexspeed type c spoiler looks "o-k". Will give it a few days. It does the job covering the holes.
pics please

The pimple-faced "audiophiles" from Best Buy and the like will typically pounce on the good-natured, unsuspecting person purchasing the gifts and pronounce that "without this top-notch 'certified' THX cable, the game console can only be seen in black and white and will generate nothing but a hissing noise during play"

Unsuspecting buyer (in his/her best grandam voice) will say "Ooooh MY! He wouldn't want that! Thanks, sonny, you're a dear!

Sad.....

ooooh the cable? who gives a sh*t about that?

the only thing that sucks a bit is that there were no 250gb xbox's in stock, unless we felt like driving to harrisburg to pick one up from their best buy. as much as i love my game systems, a 6+ hour round trip was a bit much.

so i ended up with the 4gb one, and i have to go buy a 250gb hdd. but oh well. i did get three of the lego games with the console, which i will actually admit to finding fairly amusing when i played the demos a while back.

No problem. Just remember to order your cables from monoprice.com from now on.

Looks like I'll be returning to some nice weather.

my problem with ordering things is that i am a total veruca salt. when i get it in my head that i want something, i want it now.

i will check them out though next time i need something. i actually had my previous xbox still hooked up through the component cable to the tv. the original one i bought i got almost immediately after they came out, and didn't have HDMI at that time. when it died with the red ring of death they sent me back a replacement that did have HDMI, but i just never bothered hooking it in. i didn't think it would make that much of a difference, so i was rather pleasantly surprised last night when the output did look significantly better than the component.

you're gonna get about 36 hours of nice weather when you come back. then the crap returns. today is actually rather pleasant out.

Well, I took most of the afternoon today to put my new downpipe/hi-flow cat on. First I took the old one off and found out what was making all the noise. I shook it and pieces fell out.

Then I put in the new one.

It took me almost 4 hours. The fitup is perfect. The bolts on the front end are pain to get to. You need about 15" of extensions and a nuckle then its still trial and error. The most notable difference at first is the sound. The in-car volume is definitely higher. I'm just going to have to get used to it I guess. So far, all smiles.
