It took me almost 4 hours. The fitup is perfect. The bolts on the front end are pain to get to. You need about 15" of extensions and a nuckle then its still trial and error. The most notable difference at first is the sound. The in-car volume is definitely higher. I'm just going to have to get used to it I guess. So far, all smiles.
That looks like a nice piece. What exhaust do you have? I had the Buschur quiet exhaust with an UR metal substrate HFC and the volume increased ever so slightly but the gains were healthy on the dyno even before it was tuned. Still WAY quieter than my 06 with the Turbo XS on it....

I had a turboxs no no cat on my cammed 05. It was as loud as a small airplane.

I had my first chance to put the MR to the test in the snow. Doesn't seem as sure footed as I remember the RS being. Maybe I need to adjust the tire pressures.

I think I have a Buscher 3" cat back with bullet muffler. That came with the car when I got it.

I got to take the car for a good drive this morning. I think I'm getting used to the increased noise. It had a drone that was loudest just under 3K rpms. That is still there and probably the most noticable increase in volume. When cruising at 3k and up, it doesn't sound much different than before. I noticed that the whole exhaust hangs better under the car. The stock cat/down pipe let the cat back part sag. The CNT cat/pipe bolts real solid to the cat back. I don't have an insulator (hanger) at the back of the cat yet. I need to get the right size. But it's still very solid. I haven't had a good chance to really get on it yet, but I do notice a difference. I think the rpms climb faster and the boost hits harder. - That's from the butt dyno.

The CNT pipe comes with an extra bung for a wideband sensor. I'm starting to save up for that next.
