Didn't have a chance to pull the hatch apart last night, just popped it off and its looking like the power lines for the camera came loose. Going to try and get them secured better tonight and see if that helps matters.

Edit: Turns out power wire had come loose. Secured the connections and all is well again.

Glad to hear it was an easy fix!

58. Remote Engine Starter Kit

With the colder temperatures slowly creeping up on us, nothing beats being able to jump into a warm and toasty car. I decided to stick with the OEM kit to avoid having to cut and splice into the factory wiring. It's actually nothing complicated, and the ECU already has an open port ready to plug and play the starter kit. I'm really excited to start using this more often once we're in the dead of winter. Sorry I only have one picture of the remote as I was too excited during the install that I forgot my camera. I haven't been able to test the range yet but I'll update once I have a chance to to experience it more.

You can order it through your local dealer. Part number is MZ360340EX

Straight plug and play. No cutting or splicing into anything. Very easy to install, took about 1 hour to pull all the panels and tuck the wiring along the driver side.

I was quoted $721.41 CAD from both Platinum and Hyatt Mitsubishi. It's pricey for sure, but I love the look of the remote, made in Japan, and very clean install (no splicing or rats nest of wires under the dash).

Is that an one way or 2-way remote starter?I just got mine done for $500 (aftermarket 2-way). The car is nice and toasty in the morning now

Jay, this one is a one way. A two way would have been nice but again, splicing was a no-go for me so I had no choice but to stick with OEM, which I am happy about.

Nice to see another Calgarian on here, let me know if you'd be up for coffee sometime.

Interesting that it can allow the car to run for 10 or 30 minutes. Most modern starters do not allow that (like my Nissan which is capped at 10)

I just found your thread, and you have done an awesome job on you RVR! I especially love those tail lights. I'm thinking of getting something similar

You plan on changing your fog lights to the new LED style? Or keeping it original for now?
