Two completely different things but imagine installing both at once. How amazing the steering would feel. May as well throw in the Whiteline Steering precision kit for another like 60 bucks and have the best steering feel of all time

I wish I would have done a bit more research on that kit. I would have really liked to have added more caster when I installed everything. After doing a 2day full bushing/suspension change I do not feel like touching it again for quite some time.

Epic win with a bit of fail....

Car's running and intake manifold install was a success! However, i FAILed to reinstall my dipstick so I got oil everywhere. I was due for an oil change right before my cam install anyways!

Hard to improve on the Evo steering feel, as I've discovered the hard $$$ way! Something with the parts I had installed, or the install itself, has degraded the feel. Back to the shop on Thursday, and if nothing is obviously wrong, I'll have them start deinstalling stuff until the car steers like an Evo again. I'm guessing I'll return without the roll center correction kit, but others have told me it has no detrimental effect. Sigh.

This weekend is the first time i'm going to be wrenching on my new evo. 2 weeks ago I changed all fluids and did some general maintainance.

This weekend:
-TBE
-Lowering springs
-MBC
-LICP
-18psi WGA

horay for me! (Oh, and thanks to Joey R for his gast knowledge and assistance with the wrenching.... Could do it without you, but it would probably turn out as poorly as all my other cars have! Look for the "Cheese of the month" membership in the mail..... Thats the gift that gives alllll year long.)

The car will be able to hold a line better at higher speeds with that camber but since there is no difference between the front and rear settings, I'd hazard when you "break" the line its going to under steer a bit assuming you don't have some crazy spring settings/rear sway.

You really want the camber settings for the front and rear to be different. Most people run a little bit more negative camber up front than at the rear for this exact reason.

I have the retarded JDM spring rates also. Front 8ks with the rear being 6ks or something like that.

My next mod is a whiteline adjustable rear sway bar. I guess I'll add a couple tenths of a degree of camber in the front with that alignment

I did a search on this thread for megan and only found a few things.

Some say Megan dp and tp is good.

I saw some post on the manifold but it didn't come to a conclusion.
Is it good? Any actual users out there have any problems with it?

I would like to get an HKS Hi-Power or ETS exhaust but the Megan is cheaper
Would anyone like to comment? Please comment. i'm buying the parts from english to support the community. i'm not sure if english carrys megan though. can anyone confirm?

I would steer away from the megan manifold. I have read about so many cracking. If I were you I would go with a muse motersports manifold, or the buschur ported stock one (they are the same one pretty much). A lot of people say ported stock cast manifolds are just as good as the tubular ones. At least on a stock-sized turbo.

Also, I have a friend running a megan TBE and he seems to like it, and he got decent power out of it.

i run a megan mani, dp, and test pipe and havent a single issue. the main reason they crack is if u removed ur hood vent and you get a bunch of water hitting the mani. i ceramicoated mine so i won have the issue either way and it looks better imo
