pix from our EvoNats at Wakefeild park raceway

Race seat for the track

fitted

the tow rig, not my car that is the boss's 4WD

vid at the motorkhana when the turbo died

found a restriction in the exhaust as I was swapping it over for a 3 inch cat back

The OEM flanges were welded onto the cat that was fitted, that is a 3 inch gasket

So I cut them off and got some 3inch pipe and flanges and welded them on

As posted in tech my turbo died at this event

Looking into the cause as I am told it was due to not enough airflow to the turbo

that is the stock piston mate, hence my motor now being 'fully built', pretty sure if you read further on from that post you will see my motor upgrades.......

As per that quoted post of mine above the pic of the injectors :

Got some goodies for the forged rebuild to be done soon

cheers mate

so when I was putting the turbo back on I managed to strip the thread on one of the drain back bolts in the sump but didn't have time to fix it before the tune so today was the day.

Off to the auto store, 15 buck 3inch exhaust chrome tip, there are no exhaust shops open in beauy on sat and I didn't know what size pipe I need, which is 3 inch btw.

Just cut the pipe on one side and pull it apart a bit, don't forget to cut a recess for the oil pick up, which I did first time

that other welding is some stress cracks from the spotwelds that I welded ages ago.

Also welded on another nut for the oil return bolt

And I will now say that my car is scary fast

compared to before.... WOW it going to take some getting used to...
