Wheatley's 6262 build
I decided along with doing the -8 return line to a bulk head in the tank to also go ahead and run a regulator with a bigger orifice just in case. I ordered everything from summit and jegs late Sunday night. Everything came in Tuesday and took longer in the evening to finish up due to clearance issues with the bulk head and my floor under the seat. I finished it all up about 1am and had to fire it to make sure the base pressure was able to be controlled and it was!
Today rolls around and it rained on and off most the day. Worked until 7 and it cleared up finally. Started finishing everything up and tweaked the cold start a little more while it was still cold. By the time I had all the tools backed, car refueled and ready to go it started raining again! I was literally belted in the car getting ready to pull out. I had Aaron with the colt ridding shotgun so we decided to wait until it died down a little and take it for a spin in the rain anyways.
I took a ton of fuel out of the map in the vacuum side and it was still rich, this pump setup is ridiculous compared to the old walbro setup. Stopped to make an adjustment and for the time being am satisfied to safely drive it around. Still raining I wanted to get into boost a little to see where the boost comp tables were. Untouched it pegged the wideband full rich, no surprise really. I pulled a very large amount of fuel and it cleaned it up but still pegged full rich. It was hitting 25+ psi just blipping the throttle and blowing the tires off. Felt great to get back in it and take it for a spin!
Hopefully tomorrow it stays dry and I have good luck with clear roads to make some pulls to dial in the afr in boost. I generally don't worry about getting it perfect since the o2 feedback does a pretty nice job keeping it in line.
Little wet but no big deal, pump seems to clear fine btw.

Made a few more hits before the rain came back. I finally got one 100% wot pull at full boost. Felt pretty good. I really wont have anymore time to dial the car in tune wise. The street tires are useless but they are a few years old.
The car pulls hard left while driving, which is a new thing. I'm going to try and sort the alignment out today if I have time.

The pull has been corrected, the miss at 5400 rpm has been corrected. I still haven't launched the car or tested any of the other settings out but with some luck it'll go straight down the track and I'll be able to bang some gears. I didn't even get a chance to go through the gears. With the street tires it just blows the tires off in third making it pointless to try and do much.
The fuel map and boost map need some fine tuning but its all ready to load up tomorrow, hopefully I'll get a chance to make some adjustments there and practice seat time during qualifying lol.
No problem at all and good luck with everything! Hopefully see you at Shootout.
Thanks, a lot of hours and luck so far.
