AMS still works on evos? lmao. Either way, they are in the midwest.
STM is WAYYYY upstate NY which is about 6 hrs from NYC.
Whalen Speed is in the midwest, not east coast
Driven Fab is also in the midwest
Boostin is also in the midwest
So you gave me one on the East Coast (minus CBRD) so not even really close.
Chad is so busy, but I know he would love to help you. He’s always spoken very highly of you. If you’re able to go in person, it should be better. Shop is worth seeing at least if you haven’t already.

This was my spare cylinder head. The cylinder head the other crappy machine shop f'd up is still on the car.

Definitely going to miss California tracks.

At least it has some grass now. When it first opened it was track asphalt then immediately gravel. It claimed a lot of windshields the first year.
Yeah, not much run-off in these parts.
There are plenty of tracks for you to try out here within a 3-5 hr drive.
Palmer Motorsports Park
Lime Rock Park
Watkins Glen
NJMP - 2 tracks, Thunder and Lightning
Pocono Raceway
NYST
NASA Northeast has HPDE events at all of these this year
I have always been envious of MidWest and Western tracks where it seems you can go ***** OUT and not seem to worry about DEATH being on the line. One of my HPDE events a guy with a brand new Porsche GT slammed it into a wall and DIED.... Once you get past the death fear (LOL) then you can enjoy the massive changes in elevation that you probably don't have at a lot of Mid/West tracks.
Wish you the best on your new build and move to the east coat. I'm in North NJ myself and had Chad perform a bunch of work on my car including a BorgWarner 7163 kit. He's more responsive via text message. He's honestly your best bet outside of going to IveyTune in Linden, NJ or Moore Automotive in Virginia (A distance obviously).

Dropped the Evo and new built and CNC'd cylinder head off at the shop today.
This will be the last time I see it in California before it's shipped to me on the East Coast. It's a little anxiety inducing but things always tend to work out. I won't see the car again for at least three months, and it will be on the opposite coast.
I took some video and photos to A. Catalog the condition of the car before I move 3,000 miles away from it and B. as a memento as the last photos of it in California...
