His not finished buying parts yet, so he is far away from assembling the engine

Today I had a really nice ride on Croatian coast.
Here are 2 songs you should not listen to while driving an Evo:

So, here are the last few parts I have ordered from Ross Sport.
I'm just missing the middle section of the timing belt cover which is on the way thanks to urgent intervention of Ross.
Hopefully I can now finish my build and torque down the engine components and put it to work.

Once again thanks to Walker from Ross Sport for organizing the big order and being patient with me :-)

Super sweet build with lots of good detailed pictures. But.... that brass fitting on the valve cover is taking it from a 10 to a 6 lol. You should get a aluminum fitting and run some braided hose.

Yes, I agree, the brass fitting (color) some how dose not fit

Got the last 2 missing parts, Belt tensioner and the middle cover.
Also in the meantime managed to galvanize the water inlet pipe and powdercoat the 2 brackets.
I think I got now all the parts

So, yesterday we had torque party in the shop.
We managed to finally put the engine together in one peace and torque everything to it's spec.
All parts are brand new, bolts, washers every single thing.
Also we put spacers for the magnus fuel rail which I did not have but my mechanic did

Turned the engine few times over, belt is tight and everything is in clearance.

stay tuned...

Be careful with that Manley crank. They're a bit weak. I cracked one at about 9000 miles making 430whp.

But my setup is about the same as yours. 2.3 with an fp black.
