I had to get an antibiotic prescription. I haven't been this kind of sick in a while, but I'm feeling slightly better since beginning the medication. I'm hoping to do some tinkering this weekend and post some new pics.

Great work . I was thinking about electric evo's for some time now .

A lot of the EV conversions people still run their transmissions . But if I'm not mistaken the Tesla doesn't have a transmission with different gears to shift but rather a simple gearbox. Basically it's just one gear and speed is related to the motors rpm .

If the tesla Model S P85D /P90D runs two motors (front and rear ) , I was thinking of having an evo do the same . So basically connect a motor to the rear diff either flip the diff to face the motor from the trunk or install a motor in place where the gas tank would be . As for the front end , install another rear diff with the front motor . So basically two motors and two rear diffs , one in the front end and the other in rear end .

This can then allow you to creat a setup where you can switch between fwd , rwd , awd or even control the awd power split between front and rear 50/50 40/60 etc...

Starting to lose count
of how many times I've done this

Gearbox looks much nicer this time around. It's freshly rebuilt from Jacks with an Albins 4.0 final drive.

On track for a drive this weekend
Motor Mount 2.0 complete

Just needs a powder-coat.

With such a quiet motor, I'm expecting road noise to be an issue. I bought some fender liners and found some peel n seel in the garage. Combining these items represents a rather half-hearted attempt at vibration dampening, but the result isn't entirely dissimilar from what I've seen on a Mercedes S class. In a further effort to seal up the engine bay, I purchased some wings for my Carbing under-tray.

Oh yeah, the first actual drive, not the easy and slow test driving to check for everything to be working properly, I'm talking the 50%+ throttle kind of stuff is going to be so awesome!
