Were you able to get all the paper work done so you can register the car and have it inspected?

I have no idea.
The company received my charger five weeks ago, but only started diagnostics last Thursday. Per their original quote, I should have had the charger returned three weeks ago. At this point in the build, I consider the exercise of extreme patience to be a necessity. There are enough small projects to keep me occupied untill the charger arrives, then I'll proceed to road testing.

The vinyl-wrap learning curve is quite steep.

This is by far one of the coolest things i've seen. The amount of time, hardwork, engineering, and money. My god. Congrats man, 2 years!! Can't wait to see this thing rolling!

Sir (electron bom), I have to tell you...I've watched your progress of this build on here since the beginning. I always thought-why is he doing this to a sports car like The Evo? But, now that I watched the YouTube video, I see why! First off, I want to thank you for your dedication on saving that car from a junk yard! Your dedication in seeing this project to the very end is unfathomable! Your craftsmanship, time and I'm sure (lots!) money, that no one could make it to see this project to the very end...How long do you get out of a charge? Anyways, thank you for your injunuity, and everything else! Whats next? Many Congratulations!

Thank you for the kind words. There is no shortage of really interesting builds on these forums and it's exciting to know that people found this particular build fun to watch.

In theory, I should get 40 miles (+/- 10mi depending on driving style) per charge with the current pack configuration. However, I don't have any data to back that up because my charger is still at the manufacturer's engineering department being repaired.

Next step = more lithium. I'm hoping to cram another 64 cells into the gas tank area which would bump the pack specs to a total of 20kWh and ~332V at full charge. That should be sufficient to run two motors in series and increase the current range by ~60%
