Thank you. Its a high compression engine with a small turbo. Its run on Ethanol 99% of the time. I don't run it hard on pump gas but would expect 450-500whp or so. Here are the specs.

New Evo 9 Block STD bore
Manley Billet 94MM Crank
RSP Spec 153MM Carrillo Rods
RSP Spec Custom 10:1 CP Pistons with all the options
ACL Bearings
OEM Gaskets
Head Games "Pocket ported" Mivec Cylinder head
GSC Billet S2 Camshafts
Full GSC Valvetrain
HLA
Built by Jay Meagher of Real Street Performance

You're welcome.
Thats what was on the car and at that time. Back pressure is always a concern but with tuning and good fuel , good results can happen. I've moved on to the new Tomei 3" pipe since then.

I use either Rotella Syn 5-40 or Brad penn 5-40. Brad penn would be the choice for track days or high oil temps

November update. Car has been running well but the 6 puck is getting tired. Between the 4.11 Final drive, 20K miles of abuse on the pressure plate its not happy about it. I had some slip in 4th the other day.
With this platform being over a decade old I'm growing a bit concerned with parts availability . I may have talked myself into pulling the trigger on a new trans just so I have a backup. I see myself owning this car for a long time.

I ordered a new evo 8 transmission and a mfactory 4.31 Final drive. I'm going to shorten the gear slightly and go to a taller tire. The small change should also put me closer to the limiter in the 1/4 mile. I'm not into drag racing much but I like to optimize my streetcar combination. I'm going to move from a slippery 300TW tire to a RE71 as well.

Trans shipped to TRE yesterday and is getting some detailing.

I’m going to imagine that’s the Japanese smiley face for ok on the trans.

OMG such a well documented and detailed thread, awesome build! Did you ever measure the pack pressure difference the 2.75 and 3 dp's were?

Thank you. We didn't measure back pressure but It picked up some power on both ends. I can probably dig up some dyno charts if you want.

Went out and put a few miles on the new setup. Gearing and clutch seem spot on.

Sidenote, Had an idea for a skit last year and made it happen .
Merry Christmas !

Weather was perfect in Orlando today. Went out on a 60 mile cruise to the local springs to check out the wildlife.

Transmission shifts well and has about 250 easy miles on it. Exedy twin HD has a stiffer pedal but modulation and feel are nice .
