Got the 13kg front springs from eibach and got them fitted. I’m on track again next weekend so will be keen to play around and see how I go.

Also upgraded the breather system to accomodate the e85 vapours. I bought an Aeroflow single breather can which I’ve bolted to the battery tray. Now the breather from my original catch tank will go to this new one and then the new one has a little breather filter on top.

Wrapped the intake and intercooler pipe in some gold heat reflective tape, every little helps with keeping the temps down in the hot Aussie weather.

have you removed all the hood seals? I measured ambient temps in the engine bay when driving 50mph
also if you put the breather beside the intake fumes will get sucked in and wont smell
also you can flip the bracket on the hose to the coolant reservoir

What are you flipping the brackets for? To cool the overflow hose?

So a little bit of change, getting 17” tyres is becoming more and more difficult. I was planning on getting some 17” slicks next but again getting them and the semi slicks is becoming hard and too much of a long wait time, so I’m moving to an 18” setup.

I’ve ordered 2x sets of WedsSport Tc105x 18x9.5+35, one set will have some hankook f200 slicks fitted, and the other set will have my road tyres fitted.

This also means I can now run a bigger brake setup. So I’ve sold my current setup and I’ve ordered a new kit which is pretty special.

It consists of some Alcon billet monobloc gt calipers which have vented titanium pistons and are semi ducted ready. They will have some 25mm endless n35s pads in and be paired with some 365mm x 34mm fully floating alcon s vein race discs.

Keen to get this set up on, the brakes will take about 4 weeks to get here.
