Is this supposed to be built into the tephra rom? I am looking in ecuflash for this correct? I dont have a knock control sub section maybe this is my problem lol I see a timing subsection that just has the knock filter maps in there but no knock control maybe I have to define it in the xml?
I assume this thread will have my info I need maybe I need to read further

Worked like a charm bro, before when I had this much timing advance with the evo rom I was gettting 15-20 counts of knock before even hitting wot, now I went and did a couple wot pulls in third and am hitting basically identical knock counts as my lancer rom, maybe up to 5-7 max, but then again my fuel is extremely rich bottoming out my uego at 10 alot of times so definetely getting the fuel just need to take some away now
This really makes me happy. My biggest concern with the evo rom was going to be that high knock count...but it seems the "acceptable measurement" for the lancer is right in the middle of the adjustable levels of the evo. Excellent that you're not running terribly off timing now, and looking good on the knock counts.

Ok so great news I was able to sit down with Aaron from English racing and pick his brain for tuning tips
Great guy BTW and I was able to check out that rediculous 700 whp evo of his.
Anyways so he convinced me to change my maf scaling back to stock evo which I did and followed a couple more tips for my injectors and like magic my afrs start falling into place
Very happy with results and now that my afrs seem pretty close I am going to work on timing some more and then fine tune the fuel

Ok so basically Aaron confirmed some things here on evom and separated the bull****. He told me to pick an afr then taper it down about .5 afr down the table so I did this

Next he said pick a injector scaling and do a WOT pull. then adjust the scaling up or down until your close. Mine are now about .3 to .5 afr difference between actual and table afrs. Once thats done scaling is done leave it alone then just adjust your latencies to get your trims close, he said disregard your long term trims and just watch your short term and as long as its staying +/- 5% I still made sure my long terms were at least +/- 10. He says evos stock will have LTFT up to +/- 8. Scaling=WOT and latencies=cruise and idle. He simplified alot for me and changing the maf scaling to stock evo is what really lined up my afrs for me. However I am sure this is due to me having as entirely stock evo intake setup including FMIC BOV and MAF
I have confirmed this works guys and I redid my injectors in like 10 mins its SWEET!!!!!
