I think every turbo lancer should do this.

Can someone draw a diagram?

Just use this diagram worked fine for me.

You just have to cut the red wire going to our pump. Then connect the 30 post on the relay to the piece of wire going to the pump then the peice of wire going back into the car to the harness you connect to the 86 post on the relay. 87 post goes to the battery just make sure you put an inline fuse inbetween there for safety. Then 85 post goes to the closest ground you can find, I grounded mine the the bolt holding the seat belt down.

Hey guys anyone out there running stock evo8/9 full intake piping and evo 9 maf, or even with the stock maf? If so do you mind posting your maf scaling? I cant help but think mine is just completely wacko but dont know exactly how to fix it since I changed injectors and intake setup all at the same time when going turbo.

I noticed MAF smoothing makes the biggest difference compared to MAF scaling.

Still running lean?

Not as bad as before I am down to 11.8-12.0 lol I just hate that I am bottomed out in the fuel map dunno what to do. I am kinda afraid to mess with the smoothing since Ive already messed with so much lol.

Maf scaling, but be careful, the car doesn't like hitting 8-9.x afr(trust me lol).

What I did was lower the injector scaling until I was satisfied with the AFR.

Then retune the MAF scaling and MAF smoothing.
Lowering the injector scaling might throw your fuel trims in the rich side,
so retuning the MAF scaling will fix that

Ya I might have to do that. I just checked my afrs and there back at 12.5 WTF??????????? Must be the weather it was warmer when getting the 11.8 then today its alot colder and am getting the 12.5. I have pmed a few ecuflash tuning gurus and they all tell me the 390 scaling I have now is too low but IDK maybe I should just say screw it and tune how I feel I need to to get the job done. Are you running 440s or bigger now? What your scaling 4G94T?

No I have 750cc injectors.

Try to rescale them down to 350.

Your idle and cruise will be rich. Just adjust the MAF scaling. Your WOT should be good.
Make sure your fuel map gets richer as the RPMs increase. It should not be linear.
That also goes with your MAF scaling, it should always be increasing.

Ok so who wants to donate a stock lancer ecu for a good cause? Maybe someone running an evo ecu? Read the last few posts in this thread to understand more, who knows, this could mean great things for the turbo'ed lancer community.

I'm asking mrFred and tephra if they have tried anything like this. Maybe I can pull an ecu out of a junkyard here and try it on the evo i have.
