I am going to change a couple connections and also I am going to check my voltage to the pump while driving and might add a relay to boost the voltage if needed. I have notice ever since the install my engine turns over a little slower than it used to no doubt due to my relocation and probably some cheap connector somwhere in between.
I relocated my battery to my trunk with a Moroso battery box and install kit before I initially install my 16G6 turbo kit 2 years ago and have had it there ever since. Make sure your ground connection in the trunk is clean and secure. Also spray some corrosion inhibitor on all grounding points after cleaning.

Thanks senate always appreciate and welcome your input . So I just checked voltage at my battery and am getting 13.9-14.1v. However at the pump I am only getting 12-12.5. I am going to install a relay and see what I get.

Gotta love the ol' DSM fuel pump rewire trick. I didn't think Lancers suffered from the same issue also. It was probably even easier with your battery located in the trunk. I'm gonna do the rewire to my fuel pump, too, for good measure to increase the amperage draw and get proper fuel pressure now that my pistons and rods were dropped in this weekend.

Your right it was extremely easy . Well short answer is yes it helped. I did 3 pulls back to back right before rewiring the pump and was sitting at 12.8-12.9 in my trouble area. Now another three pulls right after with nothing else changed I am getting 12-12.2. Still not enough but will probably pull my injectors and get them tested. I have a max IDC of 71% so definately not maxing anything out.

Most likely not, it doesnt seem many people go through this much hassle with afrs. Especially those with the walbro and 440s. IDK what my deal is . As I stated before I just dont know when to quit and since I took a week off work just because I can I figured might as well hit this darn thing hard.

Is the rewire necessary if you've relocated the battery?

I checked my battery voltage at WOT and its at 13.7
Should it be higher?

How do you check your voltage at the fuel pump?

After you pull off your plate covering your pump assembly un clip the wire harness and thereare 3 little clips on that plug itself you will see on the sides. You can lift up on these and the little pastic cover will tilt up exposing the two wires. I just took my voltmeter probes and pushed them down where those wires go in.

I didnt check my voltage at wot just at idle. 13.7 seems plenty good to me.

dgs. voltage
-4 14.2-15.4V
68 13.9-14.9

176 13.1-14.5

(idle rpm 800) this is straight from the mitsu diagnostics program at my job
