Ok I have a question for the tuning gurus. What does it mean when I can do a WOT pull starting at 2000rpms or below and get knock counts 0-3 with an occaisional 5 but yet I can do another run same road same direction right away and if I start my pull around 2500 my knock counts skyrocket like 10-15 counts??
Knock
How occasional is the 5 knock? I know I can't solve this for you, but I'm getting more curious about tuning. Also, what knock did you see initially before turbo? I remember you said you had the tactrix cable before the turbo and logged a ton, right?
Also, is the knock in a pattern or similar range each pull?

I dunno, from what Iknow if you see knock and your afr's are fine, it's due to timing.
or bad gas
or phantom (extremely more rare)
So, it's always in the same RPM range when you see it though? and it's consistent like you said, aka reproducible, in that specific range, or just reproducible in the sense that it will show up in "some range" not specifically the same range though.

Well I am thinking (or hoping) its mostly due to a little high in the afrs I notice when I hit it its around 13 before it drops so hopefully the accel enrich and lean spool disable will correct but suggestions are welcome
Lean spool is good to disable for consistent tuning. Accel enrichment will inject more fuel when you hit the throttle and the ECU is catching up with the air being metered in and continue to while the RPMs and speed continue to increase.

stick knock?
Thanks senate, for some reason the tephra V7 rom I am using says the accel enrichment table is incorrect. Also I looked at the loads I was hitting when first going wot at realized that my fuel table had those load cells still set at 14.7 lol I just adjusted everything back and going to go test it now, disabling the lean spool did help but still needs some work
I also started my timing over from scratch I took my stock rom timing values plugged them into the load cells I think they should be then dropped them about 8 degrees to of course compensate for the FI and gave me a dramatic over all boost in hp

ya I still have some. I could remove instantly if I wanted to no problem but my power would drop So I just need to go at it slowly. I reinstalled my stock crank pulley which brought my knock counts slightly lower and I am switching over to fine tune the fuel to make sure I take that out of the equation as why I am getting knock. Its not bad at all now mostly 2-3 with a couple 4-5s which I will weed out. I have noticed that I consisently start getting knock even if only 1 count by 2300 rpms at a WOT pull and also see my fuel is still at 13.1 at that point so I am dropping my afrs to 12.5 by 2250 rpms to help with that and just go from there. Had to go help a buddy with his truck it wouldnt start got that fixed for him and now gotta go to work no tuning today oh well tomorrow is another day.
