any of ya'll had your oil changed at aug mits lately?

I was just wondering how much they charge so I can gauge how much I save by doing it myself.

10-30 mobil 1 $20
oil filter (oem) $6.50
shop charge $7.00

Someone told me oil change at mits for our cars are around 90 bucks. Can someone tell me? If not, i'll call them.

I have no clue. I have a friend at one of the Jiffy Lubes here and he does it for me. It was like $46 w/ military discount. That was cast full syn.

haha, yeah thats how it was when I was at the auto craft center installing my exhaust. however, then ended up helping me pull off my silencer that was stuck in there pretty good.

The oil took 30 mins or so and nobody bugged me so that was cool......

Wish I could do my taxes, I'm still waiting on the form for all the taxes I paid on my house....... Do we qualify for a fuel efficient car deduction LMAO

Well today went pretty well at the track for my first time at the strip with the Evo. Laid down a 12.9 @ 106 for my best time. I'm pretty sure I could have done better but I kept screwin up the launch. Hopefully all three of us can get up there next time.

Yes I used the 2 step. Thats actually a pretty nice thing did for us... As long as you slip the clutch and dont drop it like a tard, which was what i was doing when i would screw up. I think I could get a 12.6 or 12.7 out of the car as it sits. Just need to start lauching right and learn the shift patterns alittle better. Kinda swingin with my eyes closed with no dyno time though

Yeah don't drop it cuz that is bad on the tranny at least from what I have read.

The bad thing for us is with stock clutches, they tend to heat up using the 2 step, so its hard to do back to back runs without over heating the clutch,

I like to wait a while in between runs which is no problem at jackson LOL

what was your 60fts?

Yeah the waits are really bad if you don't get there early.

On the best run the 60 ft was 1.975

Seems as though I have a nasty exhaust leak.. It sounds like crap. I think I might have blown that downpipe exhaust gasket.
