Quote: well, here are some tidbits:

test car #1: EVO IX 41,000 miles, stock bottom end

Upgraded valve springs/retainers, Cossie cams, headstuds, stock gasket
CBR BBKB NO PORT
megan o2 housing
Perrin inlet pipe, grimmspeed 3 port, walbro 780cc PTE
JMF UICP and CBRD LICP
CBRD tube and fin fmic
stock plugs
tback, FR manifold

3rd GEAR PULLS, MR 6 speed

406whp/331wtq at 26.2 psi tapering to 25.0

20 psi at 3860
25 psi at 4132

very close on injector duty cycles,

did half a pull at 30psi,by 6500 rpm it hit 426whp and 373wtq but IDC's were at 112% and it started to go lean so I lifted.

going to put some 1000cc's in it.

I will post some charts tomorrow

we lost about 285 rpm to the BBK full with a port.

This is the FULL size compressor wheel meaning its around 60lbs min

More info coming tomorrow and this week, as we convert another Tomei (failed within 5000 miles) powered car to the BBK-B, still stock block, but has a headgames head!

Cheers

cb

Does this surge with the small comp housing. why not use the 80mm one? or is that not an option.

We've never used an antisurge housing on our turbos!

Good info.

Chad, why no port on this turbo when you have said porting is not optional and that every BBK-B comes ported?

Also are we to assume this TBE was with a test pipe?

:-)

to answer a previous question..... We don't have a pre-order wait list... We have a list of over 80 people that want the upgrade, we will be able to supply everyone in the same delivery times we have now :-)
