CBRD- BBK info- NEW turbos, etc...
CBRD issued me a rebate check on the BBK when i ordered in about May. He is usually busy and will eventually gets back to you. I can't wait to see what the new turbo is gonna do. Might be a chance for me to upgrade, but i really do love the BBK FULL.
Im want this new turbo to hurry up and come out!!! Then hopefully ill be able to afford one of the many used BBK ULL'S im sure will spring up!!! If not, im still saving up my $1,200!!!
So what I am wondering is how this will compare to the Red in flow and lag. For example, a lot of people state that the BBK and Green are basically the same, but this is not true as the BBK spools like stock and the Green is about +300-500 RPM on lag. Not to mention the BBK makes a bit more power. If this new turbo spools like a Green with power of a Red I think we have the new ultimate street turbo.
I also have heard Chad say a Red is "basically a 35R". Well then I assumed the Red flowed around 65lb/min but in fact it is really around 57. The BBK Full is said to be about 50lb/min as per a discussion with Chad. So will this new turbo be bigger than a Red? Smaller? I just want to see if they apply their BBK design technology to a bigger snail how will it compare to the FP products like when comparing the Green to BBK Full. I know I am stating the obvious questions/comments here but I am just so damn excited for this thing! I am glad I waited to upgrade and can't wait till spring for a big build project!!!
