CBRD- BBK info- NEW turbos, etc...
Thanks for the update Chad. The IX is being torn down to be replaced by the X and of the 6 turbo setups I have had in the IX, the BBK Full has easily surpassed all of the others, including my FP Red and (Old) FP Green. I want to make sure that I am in the first wave of X turbos you decide to produce as well as the other X products you plan on developing/selling
ok guys,
sorry...
we are just very busy
I am doing development work on a few things... BBK-B and evo X products (full line)....
We are just as dedicated to both platforms, and are working hard... but we are also here to manage our ability to finish client's cars here in the shop!!
Ill give you some updates shortly!!

Def. looking forward to more udpates...BBK-B same turbo that Caleb & Charlie were running??
subscribing... More info as it comes please, I'm hoping this bigger bbk comes out. I love the performance and ideas put into the current full, but may be going with a 2.4 and was thinking it might be nice to have that little larger compressor as there will be plenty of torque down low... Although i've put some thought into a 2.4 with a full too and that would be a pretty damn crazy setup too...
I think we all can't wait to see how a BBK Full compares to a BBK-B compares to Red. Not just numbers, but also power band results. I know I was all set on a BBK Full but this BBK-B might be the "perfect street turbo" or it may be too laggy like a Red (for some people).
The suspense is killing us!!!

i'm on the same boat! i wanted the BBK Full but if the BBK B still retains quick spool and awesome power band then it might take the place of the Full on my list. i would also like to know which set of GSC cams would be best for this these turbos for a killer street setup.
chad could you please PM info about the CBRD TAK33R... the Red died this past weekend at the last Redline event and Im pretty much tired of playing with stock frame turbos...
thanks,
Matt

I guess I will ask a simple question to keep things interesting....is this BBK-B designed with intentions to still be a good pump gas turbo or is it intended more to be a >93 octane type of turbo? I think a lot of people are willing to deal with a little more lag to have more gains over the BBK Full, which spools like stock, for some better numbers. But a lot of guys dont want to go all the way to a Red. Something in the middle would be perfect. I am just curious what the target market is for this new turbo and what is designed/intended for. Thanks!
