I'll have to get in there and look into that possibility. It sounds deceptively simple, but there's probably a good pitfall or two in there.

$499, regardless of if you get it from SMC or Buschur.

I let Dyno4mance do the install, along with several other mods I made simultaneously. Needless to say, the installation is very clean, with the controller in what was formerly the coin tray.

Also, you will need a upper IC pipe kit because you'll need a hard pipe to mount the injector. The Greddy JDM Pipe kit from Gruppe-S is relatively inexpensive, but you'll need to cut off an extra fitting before you can use it.

Dyno4mance is located in GA, near Atlanta. http://www.dyno4mance.com/

As far as the installation charge, I don't recall what it was. You'd need to speak to Andrew about it.

It's been done before (e.g. connecting the rear window sprayer to the IC sprayer). If you dig through the archives, someone did it by splicing into the piping, which meant that everytime the IC sprayer went off, so did the rear window sprayer. In my case I can count on one hand the number of times I've used the rear window sprayer, so instead of splicing into the line, I plan on just re-routing the whole thing to the IC. Should be pretty easy, although I'm sure that running the extra tubing will be a PITA...

I'm not sure I'm going to entertain that option, for that reason (simultaneous spraying) if nothing else. I'm going to keep them separate. It's certainly no big deal considering everything else I've done.

yeah, but you only get simultaneous spraying if you leave the rear window sprayer connected. In my case, if I go the route of hooking into the existing reservoir, I will disconnect the rear window sprayer completely. I've looked at the feasibility of putting another Denso pump on the reservoir, but after looking at it, it doesn't look very promising. The other thing I've thought about is to mount another reservoir on the driver's side in the trunk and then just run the piping up to the IC.

Just a quick question on the methanol. How long will a tank of methanol last if you were to go spirited driving for road race at the track. I am hoping it will be longer than 20 minutes.

If you are using the IC water spray bottle (just don't tell the tech inspectors) and a generous spray, it'll probably last 3 or 4 laps. Will it last for a 20 minute session? I guess it depends on how slow your laptimes are

Better start looking at an auxillary methanol tank or just using race fuel.

How big of a meth/alcy tank would you need to last a full tank of fuel?

That depends on your rate of injection and how often you're boosting enough to activate the injection.

With my setup, the IC sprayer reservoir will last 5-6 1/4 mile passes or so, maybe more.

Yeah, I can think of an auxilliary tank that I saw when shiv put it in that guy on tuner tranformation!!! Wow, that will last more than 20 minutes, even for my slow lap time
