Question from a guy that does not have Xede. At the end of this month I will be installing a RnR Gt3076r turbo upgrade and I am currently dynoflashed (yes I know). My question is if I understand you guys, with my new setup would this Xede basically tune itself just by driving the car? Do I need to load up a base map to go off of, or would I simply drive the car with the new Xede and it tunes itself? Because of my dynoflash would I have to flash my car back to stock? thanks for the help fella's

You will definitely need a custom tune as a baseline map. During the custom tune, Shiv would Xedeflash your ecu for $100 bucks - that would take care of your reflash.

Hey Shiv, I hear the ZT-2 was used on the development car. Please keep support for it! It is a good system!

What if a Custom Tune wasn't a option, being that I am in Colorado. Would a thru the mail flash and than the new Xede work?

Kinda hard to say at this point since we've only tested the adaptive program on Stg 1+. I suspect the same kind of improvements, if not bigger, will be realized on evo's with bigger turbos. Only time will tell. I'm guessing that all you will really need is a regular XEDEFlash (handles all the injector scaling, rev limits, boost limits, etc,.) and the XEDE running the adaptive features.

So you could do this with a thru the mail x-flash and than run the new Xede (once released) on it?? Sorry for the questions I am just trying to figure out how my car is going to get tuned with my new setup, options are limited here in Colorado. thanks

Just as long as your dynoflash is reasonably tuned for you set-up, adding the adaptive XEDE on top of it will work just fine. No need to get an XEDEFlash. And if your reflash is "off" in any way, the XEDE will let you know by showing big realtime corrections for fuel and/or timing. You can either fix this by telling dynoflash what changes need to be made or by simply making the necessary changes in the main fuel/timing maps in the XEDE. Pretty neat, eh?

So my flash for basically a buschur stage 4 car minus injectors right now will work with the new turbo kit? All I need to do is get the adaptive Xede and everything will be ok?
